Avenues in Aviation

On Monday, January 29th, Green Tree School and Services hosted an "Avenues in Aviation" career event. The day was dedicated to learning about and exploring career opportunities in the field of aviation. We were honored to host several guest speakers from American Airlines' Philadelphia Hub. Guest speakers included:
Phil Dupree, Managing Director of Customer Care
Yu Lee, Managing Director of Customer Operations
Captain Tim Avery, Director of Flight
Naomi Van Winkle, Senior Manager of In Flight (Flight Attendants)
Van Loan, Senior Manager of Airport Customer Experience
Derek Monk, International Association of Machinists (IAM) Fleet Service Agent
Our school community learned about a wide array of employment opportunities within American Airlines, including services on aircrafts and the ramp team, services with customers on the in-flight teams, and administrative support roles that serve the large American Airlines team.
