We are featuring our new 2024-2025 student ambassadors to congratulate them on their exciting new role! Meet Calia, a 10th grade autism support student and new student ambassador!
When asked on her application why she wanted to become a student ambassador, Calia shared her desire to ensure that everyone in the school and community is treated with kindness and respect. “I want to be a student ambassador because I want to change how others are being treated. I want to make sure needs are being met around the school and in the community,” she said. She is passionate about making sure that we are creating a supportive environment where all students can thrive.
Calia’s understanding of leadership reflects her strong character. She defines a good leader as someone who makes thoughtful decisions and takes responsibility for their actions—qualities she already demonstrates in her daily interactions.
What makes Calia stand out are the personal qualities she brings to her role as an ambassador. She describes herself as loving, respectful, and someone who genuinely enjoys helping others. These attributes, combined with her goal to protect others and do what’s right, make her a natural leader and advocate for her peers.
As a student ambassador, Calia is committed to making a difference in her school and community. She wants to do what is right and keep everyone safe. Her dedication to helping others and creating meaningful change makes her an inspiring role model for students and staff alike.
