We are featuring our new 2024-2025 student ambassadors to congratulate them on their exciting new role! Meet Mahkayla, an 8th grade emotional support student and new student ambassador!

Mahkayla’s desire to become a student ambassador comes from her opportunistic personality. She believed this program allowed her a chance to improve leadership and communication skills. When asked why she applied, Mahkayla said, “Being a student ambassador would allow me to connect with others, share ideas, and inspire fellow students. I believe this role will help me grow personally and have a positive impact on Green Tree.”

Mahkayla believes that to be an effective leader, one must be optimistic and supportive. A strong leader is one who inspires those around them rather than diminishing their spirits. Good leaders assist others who might be facing challenges, such as difficulties with their studies. 

Mahkayla’s positive attitude, fast learning abilities, and team player disposition makes her a great student ambassador. She is always prepared for anything that may come her way. Additionally, she is a truthful individual who considers herself a leader rather than a follower. 

Possessing the leadership qualities and positive attitude which are necessary for success, Mahkayla is ready to lead her peers and be a great representation of Green Tree School. No matter what challenges may arise, Mahkayla will be there to answer the call.
